The wrestling program in Dearborn Heights District 7 is designed to support the student athlete from the novice/beginner level through the advanced skill level. We have a youth/club team, the Dearborn Heights Wildcats that conducts training/workouts for wrestlers as young as 5 through to their senior year in high school. O.W. Best Royals Wrestling, our middle school program adds more skills and adds intensity through weight training and intense drilling. Finally, the student athlete can become part of the Annapolis Cougar Wrestling Team!. Our system is designed to not only prepare the athletes physically, but to give him/her the technical skills and mental toughness to take on any challenges.
The wrestling programs in D7 have helped produce some of the most competitive wrestlers and teams in the state of Michigan! In the 2022/2023 season alone, D7 wrestling programs produced FOUR STATE QUALIFIERS!
